What time can I work out?
+Ryse is 24/7 for members. Your phone unlocks the door any time of day or night through the Avigilon Alta app — no key card to carry or lose.
How does the door access work?
+When you join, you get an invite from Avigilon Alta to set up the app. After that, hold your phone near the reader at the door and it unlocks. Your door access matches your membership and turns on the moment you're active.
Where do I park?
+Free parking lot directly attached to the gym at 5328 Grand Avenue in Gurnee. No meters, no shared lots.
What if I lose my phone or get a new one?
+Stop by the front desk or reach out and we'll reissue your mobile key to your new device in a couple minutes.
Membership & Billing
Is there a contract?
+Standard membership has a 12-month initial commitment, then it auto-renews month to month. Day passes have no commitment.
What does membership cost?
+We offer a single-club plan and an all-access plan that opens both locations. Current pricing is on the Memberships page — and your monthly rate is locked at what you signed up for.
How do I see my billing, payments, and visit history?
+Every member gets an online portal. Sign in at the member portal with the email on your account to see your membership, billing history, recent visits, and your digital membership card.
I'm already a member — how do I get my online account?
+Use the email Ryse has on file and request a one-click sign-in link from the member portal. Your account and history are already there waiting; no password to create.
How do I update my card or cancel?
+You can manage your payment method and membership from the member portal, or stop by the front desk and we'll take care of it.
Can I freeze my membership?
+Yes — talk to the front desk about a freeze if you'll be away (travel, injury, deployment). We'll get you set up.
Day Passes & Guests
Can I try the gym without joining?
+Absolutely. We offer 1-day, 3-day, and weekly passes — buy online and you get a check-in ready instantly. Great if you're visiting or want to try before you commit.
Can I bring a guest?
+Yes — guests can grab a day pass. Set it up online ahead of time so they're ready to walk in with you.
Training
Do you offer personal training?
+Yes — personal training is based at our Mundelein location with hand-picked coaches. You can browse trainers and book a session online once Mundelein opens.
How does booking a trainer work?
+Pick a trainer, choose a service and an open time on their schedule, and book online. You're only charged after the session is confirmed complete.
Facilities
What should I bring my first day?
+Just your phone (for door access) and gym gear. Lockers, mats, and basic equipment are provided. Bring your own straps and chalk if you use them.
Do you have showers and lockers?
+Yes — full showers and locker rooms on site.
What equipment do you have?
+A serious floor: Panatta, Arsenal, Watson, Booty Builder, Nautilus, Rogue platforms for heavy lifting, plus dedicated spaces for strength, conditioning, and combat work.

Where is Ryse located?
+Our Gurnee club is open now at 5328 Grand Avenue, Gurnee, IL. A second location in Mundelein is coming soon — join the waitlist on the Mundelein page for founding-member access.
Does my membership work at both locations?
+It depends on your plan. The all-access tier opens both Gurnee and Mundelein; a single-club plan opens one location. You can see what each tier includes on the Memberships page.
